An
excellent example of the TVR Tuscan Speed 6. This is a very rare car and there
is only a handful of them in Australia. This car was upgraded to Tuscan S
specifications by the TVR factory in the UK back in 2005. The ‘standard’ 4
litre high performance 6 cylinder engine had 360 HP on tap and with upgrades
this car would have almost 400 HP under the bonnet! At the time the 5 speed
gearbox was upgraded to ‘close ratio box’ specifications and a new ECU chip
fitted. The brakes were also upgraded with a ‘big brake’ conversion. The car
weighs around 1100kg and is quoted as achieving 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, 0-100
mph in an astonishing 8.1 seconds and a top speed of 195+ mph! You get (better
than!) Ferrari or Porsche Turbo performance for a fraction of the price. The
car has power steering and is air conditioned. It has travelled 23,256 miles
from new and has a full service history and a file with all receipts. It is
finished in ‘chameleon’ with contrasting leather trim. Intoxicating performance
. . . truly a driver’s car!
