The car retains its original ID plate and the various stamped numbers are correct, confirming this to be a genuine, matching numbers, Morris Cooper S Mk1. The body number and car number are within the correct range confirming the car has retained its original body shell. The car also retains its original 1,275cc engine.

The ID plate confirms the original colour of this car was ‘New British Racing Green’ with a ‘Toga White’ roof, a colour scheme the car still carries today.

The car has recently had a bare metal respray, the interior is original with new carpets and presents very well, the engine has been rebuilt and is now 1,293cc in size and has been upgraded to the NSW Police SPO 41 specs. Other sympathetic period modifications are; ROH Contessa 5” x 10” wheels, SAAS 14” wood rim steering wheel and a 3.5” Smiths Tachometer.
