Oldtimer Australia is delighted to confirm the sale of this spectacular Mercedes-Benz 190 SL.

This UK delivered, factory right hand drive example is confirmed by the data card on file as ‘matching numbers’ and an original factory black car. It was restored by Sleeping Beauties in Brisbane, who are one of Australia’s leading high-end restoration shops. Sleeping Beauties restored cars have won trophies at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

After a no expense spared, nut and bolt restoration this car was exhibited at Motorclassica in 2019, which is Australia’s leading concours d’elegance and classic car show. The car won its class – The Best Post War Classic Open.

Today the car still presents as a fresh restoration with the odometer reading 648 km.
