An extremely rare example of the Tatra T87 Aerodynamic Limousine built in Czechoslovakia between 1936-48.This car was purchased in Slovakia in 2000 and imported to Australia in 2002. It has been restored to US concours standards by Sleeping Beauties in Qld Australia,a company known for exhibiting quality restored cars at Pebble Beach.
It is one of the first cars from Tatra’s later production & is believed to be one of 20 built with a T603 V8 and sunroof. An original T87 engine was found for the car and it will accompany the car.
The car has travelled minimal miles since that comprehensive restoration and presents an opportunity for an astute purchaser to show this car at events around the globe such as Ville de Este, Pebble Beach and other similar events.
