Silverstone Classic, UK, July 28/29/07. Group C Historic races were one of the featured races held this weekend which I attended to display my Porsche 962C the x Almeras car driven in 1989 World Sportscar Championship and Le Mans. There were over 30 cars entered to race and a further 50 cars on display including Silk Cut & Group 44 Jaguar, Rothmans and Shell/ Dunlop Porsche, Tiga, Spice, Argo, Aston Martin, Ford and more. This was one of the finest gatherings of Group C cars since the glory days of the 1980’s. Derek Bell, Mike Wild and Howden Ganley were but a few of the featured guests.

Group C car will be the feature race prior to the 2008 Le Mans race.

Classic Adelaide

The reputation of Classic Adelaide as one of the world's truly great classic tarmac rallies continues to grow and has been further enhanced by Event Chairman David Edward's commitment to maintain the high standard that competitors have come to expect from this event.

Ferrari was the featured marque in 2005. There were some competition 275s, Tour de France, Competition California Spyder and much more.

Classic Adelaide is truly one of the world's must "do" events.

David McKay Memorial Rally for Ferrari 12 cylinder carbie cars Ferrari. "In February we attended the David McKay Memorial Rally for Ferrari 12 cylinder carbie cars. This rally drew some 42 cars from around Australia which included 275s, Daytonas, Lussos, GTO replica, 365 & 330 GTC and more.

I drove down from Queensland in a low mileage, Celeste Blue Daytona. We linked up with the Sydney group and then drove in convoy to Milawa. I put some 3000 very enjoyable miles on my Daytona, which proves what a usable grand touring car the Daytona is!

This was a fantastic rally and it is hoped that something like it will be held again in the future."
